To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens.
During Our Closure, we provided the following services to our Club members
Each Club is checking in with our Club kids daily to see how they are doing during the school and Club closures. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware recognizes that For children and adolescents with mental health needs, such closures mean a lack of access to the resources they usually have through schools. We want to ensure that our Club kids and their families know firsthand even though our doors are closed, our hearts are still open and what we are doing to provide resources to them during this unprecedented time.
Each Club and School site is tasked to deliver creative and innovative ways to deliver programming to our Club kids and teens. We are supporting parents and our local school districts to strengthen distant learning initiatives.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware are distributing “Grab and Go” meals at the following locations: Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Club, Claymont Boys & Girls Club, H. Fletcher Brown, Boys & Girls Club, and Laurel Boys & Girls Club.
(Total meals served since our closure as of June 2)
