Scott Kammerer The Terry Megee Great Futures Award Recipient

(REHOBOTH BEACH, DE. – February, 2024) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is pleased to announce Scott Kammerer as the 2024 Terry Megee Great Futures Award recipient. Scott is being recognized for his dedication to help strengthen our communities, for his commitment toward children and families, and for making a positive impact on the lives of our youth in Delaware.

 

Scott is CEO of SoDel Concepts, which owns 22 business operations: 18 coastal Delaware restaurants including two brewpubs; 3 sports concessions; and a wedding-and-events venue. Scott has received a myriad business awards over the years including the Marvin S. Gilman Superstar in Business Award, the Cornerstone Award for Lifetime Achievement, has been named Best Business Leader in Delaware by the Delaware News Journal, and is listed among the most influential restaurant executives in the nation by Nation’s Restaurant News. 

 

The Great Futures Award is presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community; exemplifying the highest ideals of organizational stewardship. Their positive influence consistently meets the community’s needs or enhances the quality of life for Delawareans. This individual serves as a role model and standard-bearer within the community inspiring others toward community service and responsiveness.
