The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is proud to present the 2021 Joseph Dulin Staff of the Year award to Renee Hickman, Director of the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club. Renee has been with the Boys & Girls Clubs for over 20 years, and is a living example of our mission. With a kind and generous personality, Renee makes everyone that she comes in contact with feel welcomed and included. She considers club staff and kids a part of her family, and will do whatever it takes to meet their needs. The wisdom and experience Renee has obtained during her time at the club has made her a valued resource to other club staff and leaders, and an irreplaceable part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware team.
Renee does a great job of checking in and connecting with her staff, donors, and club kids. During her time with the organization, she has mentored and educated hundreds of children, preparing them for great futures ahead. Her desire to ensure that every child feels cared for is reflected in her daily conversations and interactions. From welcoming each club kid in the morning, to greeting them as they get off the bus, each child at the Georgetown Club knows that Ms. Hickman is there to help them succeed. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is incredibly thankful to have Renee as a part of the team, and is proud to present her with the 2021 Joseph Dulin Staff of the Year award.
