BOYS & GIRLS CLUB AT SHORTLIDGE ACADEMY HIT ONE OUT OF THE PARK AND TOUCHED ALL THE BASES – ALL 5, T

Our All Star team at Boys & Girls Club at Shortlidge Academy hit one out of the park and touched all the bases – all 5, that is, in their Delaware STARS for Early Success reassessment. The line-up made all the difference:

  • Alan Adams, Site Director

  • Corina Hayes

  • Stephanie Sibbley

  • Jabaar Brown

  • Sandra Cameron

Prowling the dugout with timely support was Elizabeth Schaff (GM), Pat Belle-Scruggs (Lead Scout), and Dean Yoo (DH).

Boys & Girls Clubs help kids achieve great futures by providing a safe and fun space, an engaging Club Experience and caring professionals to guide them along the way. Sincere thanks to Alan and his team for stepping up to the plate and coming through when it counts. Hopefully they can hear the kids in the stands cheering.

Delaware Stars for Early Success is Delaware’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) administered by the Delaware Department of Education. A QRIS is a method to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early care and education and school-age settings. The goal of Delaware Stars is to invest in participating programs to increase access to high quality care for all of Delaware’s children.
