21st Century Grant Intent

The Dagsboro Boys & Girls Club and Georgetown Boys & Girls Club in partnership with Indian River School District intend to submit an application to the Delaware State Department of Education for a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant. The grant will support an academic-focused after-school program for students at John M. Clayton Elementary, East Millsboro Elementary, Georgetown Elementary, North Georgetown Elementary, Selbyville Middle, Millsboro Middle and Georgetown Middle schools.  If you have any comments on the proposed program, please contact Betty Harmon at 302-732-6636 or Renee Hickman at 302-856-4903.  A copy of the application will be available for public review after submittal at the Dagsboro Boys & Girls Club, Georgetown Boys & Girls Club and the Indian River School District main office. 

 

New for Cohort 22 - 2024

The Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club in partnership with Seaford School District intend to submit an application to the Delaware State Department of Education for a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant. The grant will support an academic-focused after-school program for students at Blades Elementary, Central Elementary, West Seaford Elementary, Frederick Douglass Elementary, and Seaford Middle School.  If you have any comments on the proposed program, please contact Area Director, Chris Couch at 302-391-9963 Ext. 814.  A copy of the application will be available for public review after submittal at the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club and the Seaford School District main office. 

 

In addition, four school-based Boys & Girls Clubs in partnership with Red Clay Consolidated School District intend to submit an application to the Delaware State Department of Education for a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant. The grant will support an academic-focused after-school program for students at Shortlidge Academy, Joseph G.
