Martha S. Carper

The Martha S. Carper Youth Fund was established in 2015 at the Delaware Community Foundation. This fund supports Boys & Girls Club Programs for youth in need, particularly for teens. The fund continues to grow as a result of strong investment management and additional contributions from family and friends.

Martha has been actively involved with Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware for more than 25 years. As Chair of the Board, she led the organization during some of its most challenging times, completed a successful Capital Campaign, and contributed significantly to its statewide growth.

Martha has always had a deep commitment in helping young people in our community as a mentor, educator, advocate, volunteer, and leader.

“I want to make a lasting difference for our children in Delaware. The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe environment where kids can learn, acquire new skills, and find a base of support that many times is lacking in their lives. This is truly the best nonprofit youth organization in the state.”
