Lalana is the controller of Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. She leads the Accounting Team that handles the day to day operations; including accounting records, financial reports and budgets for the organization.
Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Clubs in 2016, Lalana served as a controller and senior accountant at 2 prominent property management firms: Buccini/Pollin Group in Delaware and Holladay Corporation in Washington, DC. She also worked in public accounting at CohnReznick (formerly Reznick, Fedder & Silverman).
Lalana graduated with a BS and MS in Accounting from Southeastern University. She also studied Computer Science at George Washington University. She was a former CPA Licensed in Virginia and Maryland. Lalana currently resides in Middletown with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting her 2 children, traveling, practicing yoga, and meeting with friends.
