Michaella M. is now a sophomore at Howard University. This past summer she participated in the University of Virginia’s Summer Medical Leadership Program. She continues to thrive at school and keeps herself busy as President of the Collage of Arts & Sciences (COAS) Sophomore Council, Coordinator for the COAS freshman experience program, Volunteer Coordinator for Camp Kelsey, Community Service Chair for the Freshman Leadership Academy, Member of the 1867 Undergraduate Assistanceship Program, Member of the Ladies of the Quad Social Club, Volunteer Tutor for Petey Greene program and volunteer at her local Boys & Girls Club as a tutor, mentor and coach. We are tired just reading about Michaella’s commitment to extracurricular activities – but let’s not forget her dedication to her studies.
