2016 Delaware Youth of the Year, Michaella Moore (Greater Newark Boys & Girls Club Alum) recently traveled to South Africa with Howard University’s Young African American Leadership Initiative (YAALI). Michaella is currently in her junior year at Howard, where she is running for Student Body President (of the entire University!!!). Michaella spent 12 days exploring Cape Town and Johannesburg to research the the history and culture of the country as well as complete community service. Michaella was fortunate enough to celebrate her 21st birthday in South Africa.
