Hilary LaMotte Burke has been with Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware since 2013. Originally hired as a Regional Development Director, Hilary worked with Clubs in New Castle and Kent Counties to reach their fundraising goals and attain diversified revenue streams. In October 2015, Hilary transitioned into the statewide Director of Marketing and Communications position where she oversees all internal and external communications, social media, website, public relations and branding initiatives for the organization.
Hilary received her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California and later her Master of Social Work from Georgia State University. Hilary is a member of National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, Hilary was the Clinical Director for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. With the National MS Society, Hilary led the Chapter to provide nationally recognized programs and services to individuals and families affected by MS across Georgia.
A native of Wilmington, Hilary attended the Tatnall School before attending The Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. Gone from Wilmington for over 20 years, Hilary returned to the area in the fall of 2013. She currently lives in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. When she’s not working for the Boys & Girls Clubs, she is exercising her social work practice with the addiction and recovery community.
