Rehoboth Beach Boys & Girls Club Board Member Karen Falk named Trustee of Children’s Beach House

Mary M. Culley, president of Children’s Beach House, recently announced the appointment of two new members to its board of trustees: Karen B. Falk of Rehoboth Beach and Michael J. Hogan, CFA, of Kennett Square, Pa., and Lewes.

“We are excited to have such talented individuals join our team. Each brings with them the knowledge and experience necessary to help guide our organization to future success,” said Culley.

Falk is an accomplished marketing and public relations professional. Currently director of marketing and communications with Jack Lingo Realtor, Falk oversees the company’s marketing, public relations and social media outreach initiatives. Prior to joining Jack Lingo Realtor, Falk owned and operated her own local marketing firm, Night Owl Marketing. She was previously director of tourism for Southern Delaware Tourism where she was a five-time winner of the Delaware Governor’s Tourism Award for her innovative marketing campaigns. Falk’s board experience includes serving as a director for the Governor’s Tourism Advisory Board, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation and former president of the PTO at Sussex Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The Children’s Beach House celebrates its 80th anniversary as one of Delaware’s pre-eminent service providers for children with special needs. Founded in 1937 by Lydia Chichester du Pont, CBH’s mission remains to continue Miss Lydia’s vision of helping children with special needs reach their highest potential as functioning members of their families and communities.
