Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club Keystone Vice President, Trinity Dockery-Stone named finalist in MLK Voice 4 Youth Event at Baby Grand in Wilmington.  The MLK Voice 4 Youth Finals will take place Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2pm at the Baby Grand in Wilmington.   This annual event brought to Delaware by the YWCA Delaware and Christ Church Christiana Hundred is guided by Dr. King’s work in the 1060’s for nonviolent social change.  The event encourages teens (high school aged) to propose ways to improve their futures and the future of their communities.

Trinity will participate in the finals on the 20th, representing her community and Club.  Her powerful presentation at the semi-finals was moving, creative, and offered different perspectives.  This Sunday the judges will have a very difficult time selecting the top 3 winners.

The contest will begin with opening remarks by the Rev. Ruth Beresford, Rector of Christ Church Christiana Hundred and Stephanie Staats, CEO, YWCA Delaware.

The MLK finals are free and open to the public.   If you have friends, family members who would like to attend Sunday’s event they may reserve a seat at the baby grand, by registering at:

With regard to parking according to the city website, you may park on the street, neither Parking Regulation Enforcement Officers nor the Wilmington Police Department enforce limited-time parking at meters on weekends and holidays. You do not have to deposit coins in meters on those days.  For garages, we recommend the HyPark facility on Shipley (between 10th & 9th Street) and the Wilmington Parking Authority garage at the DoubleTree Hotel (7th & King Street.)

Good luck Trinity, and remember YOU ARE GREAT!!!
