Establishing Your Mindfulness Practice: 4-Week Experiential Workshop – Milford
Workshop Two – Establishing Your Mindfulness Practice: 4-Week Experiential Workshop   Time/Duration: 4 Workshops (1 Week Apart), each 2 Hours Long (8 CE Credits) Participant Count: 50   Description: This four-session workshop introduces participants to basic and intermediate Mindfulness practices, e.g. breath meditations, mindful yoga, body scan, walking meditation.  In addition to experiencing several meditations in each session, participants are encourage to practice formal mindfulness skills via recordings before meetings.  Participants are directed toward inter-meeting practices intended to enhance “everyday mindfulness”, e.g. mindful eating, listening, various acceptance practices, etc.  Participants will be given access to easy-to-use mindfulness tools such as guided meditation recordings and informational materials that can be used to introduce mindfulness to the population they serve.   Learning Objectives
  • Experience at least six formal mindfulness practices
  • Gain tools to establish daily formal and informal mindfulness practice
  • Access mindfulness resources to enhance personal mindfulness practice
  • Access mindfulness resources to introduce mindfulness practices to the populations they serve
