
Establishing Your Mindfulness Practice: A 4-Week Experiential Workshop Time/Duration: 4 Workshops, 3 Hours Long (8 CE Credits) Description: This one-day workshop, conducted primarily in deep silence and led by a mindfulness teacher with years of practice and teaching experience, is designed to help participants develop a mindful way of being in the world. Instruction throughout the day will include contemplative practices drawn from a variety of spiritual traditions, integrated with principles of psychological well being. The implications of living mindfully for finding contentment and life satisfaction will be considered throughout the day. Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate deep environmental, both inner and outer, silence
- Describe spiritual and psychological-based insights into inner peace
- Use at least three different contemplative practices
- Identify how psychological constraints and mindfulness meditations interact
