Serving school-age children from 5 – 12 years old, only

Emergency Child Care Services will be open on Good Friday, April 10, 2020

Hours of Operations
6:00 AM – 7:30 PM – hours are extended for healthcare professionals

  • Meals will be provided
  • Accepting new enrollment and existing Club members MUST complete new enrollment forms

How to Qualify?

Must work in the State of Delaware and be considered an essential personnel working for one of the listed essential businesses. Essential Personnel is personnel working for essential businesses, as defined by the Governor Carney’s State of Emergency, and cannot work from home.

Costs

Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Club and Greater Newark Boys & Club
$210.00 per week
$50 per diem*

Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club, Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club, Western Sussex – Seaford Boys & Girls Club, and Oak Orchard Boys & Girls Club
$155.00 per week
$40.00 per diem*

*Per diem placement depends on availability. No per diem spots will be reserved without full payment. Per diem fees are nonrefundable.

Q: If my child is a member at another Club that is still closed, but I meet the essential personnel qualifications can I still enroll my child at one of the mentioned emergency childcare centers?

A: Yes, enrollment is based on a first come first serve basis and you must complete the attached enrollment forms and email them to the specific Club Director at your preferred location.

Q: I am an essential worker and I want to enroll my child, how can I ensure that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware are ensuring safe practices during the COVID-19 pandemic?

A: We continue to enforce best practices that are coming from CDC and the State of Delaware’s Division of Public Health.
